They don't offer the switches I wanted, which I already happen to have if they were to sell a kit without switches. Same goes with most of the other ...

I'd like the option to JUST get the PCB... that's all I've wanted since the beginning. I don't have any use for a fully-built kit. I would get a kit with just the PCB and the non-switch electronics.

You can use chat or email...they are quite responsive and it says they will sell without switches ...

Bpiphany designed the PCBs, but Jewce has been with the project from the start and is one of the primary organizers and helped write the remapping software.

I'm getting two of the Sanctuary Keysets for my ergos, and will try to get the fillers from WASD. Hopefully they'll have a grey that matches but we'll see.

While a GB for keysets may happen, I am not sure how many people would participate since many already have plans for caps.

So how's the state on this, regarding prices...:P

Best guestimate: $265 before assembly. I base that off of the follwing:

~$200 Aluminum Case (could go as low as $150 I guess?)
~$30 PCBs
~$10 Connectors
~$25 Teensy 2.0

Add cost of switches, caps, and assembly, and I think we're looking at $400 ...

I'm not entirely sure I'll be able to support macros in the UI. IC, if you're watching, could you comment on if/how macros are going to work in the firmware?

You will be able to make a "gaming" layer in the UI or by editing the firmware.

Well, you can certainly edit the compiled hex by hand, but I wouldn't recommend that. You're much better off editing the C code (firmware source) and recompiling.
