I was surprised how quickly I picked up most of the letters. The left hand Z, X, C, V and B are the most challenging to relearn and are the only ones I still miss frequently. Not surprising, since the right hand only has to relearn the N and M.

Inspired by Ceezas workspace, and after a frustrating search for a high quality, adjustable split keyboard, I decided to create one myself from Tipro parts.

It certainly would.
But the cable is connected on both ends to a small socket sitting directly on the PCB. It normally passes through the plastic piece which joins two units together, so there is no hole provided for it in the casing ...

Yes, this relates to the FREE boards. The connecting cable is: "a small MINIDIN connector – looks like PS/2".

The problem is that the cable normally used is very short (a few centimeters), as modules usually are physically assembled together. So just make a longer cable if you can, that's all.

Does the Tipro come with the double width Shift and Enter keys? Or did you order those separately?
What about the force needed to press those double keys. If they are on two switches, don't they ...
