Re: IDENTIFY THE KEYBOARD thread

Haven't seen this Commodore PC keyboard before (I have a Commodore Colt with matching keyboard which is more like the OG IBM PC layout). This looks like from the PC-AT era?

Re: IDENTIFY THE KEYBOARD thread
What's this board from a recent eBay listing*? I find the legends on the keycaps quite interesting. Note the unusual F13-F16 keys.

SKCM orange, to lube or not?
I’m restoring a AEK I with orange alps and I’m wondering if I should lube them after cleaning (they’re pretty dirty so they def need the cleaning). And if yes, what lube and how to apply?

Re: IDENTIFY THE KEYBOARD thread
From a recent eBay listing. Manufacturer is “Video Technologies”.
The nav cluster and blank keys in the bottom row make it slightly more interesting than run-of-the mill boards.
Does anyone know what this is, what switches it uses? (I assume it’s very cheaply made.)

This is the keyboard cable that came with these, there's no coil. 5-pin DIN on both sides.

IBM Beamspring T-Shirt
Heya, I've started a little fundraiser for the Vintage Computer Federation with a T-Shirt showing an exploded Beamspring keyboard. I think it looks awesome, so why not join the fundraiser! :)

This is a screencap from "The Farthest", a documentary on the Voyager spacecraft. What's the keyboard? The caps are gorgeous.

Guys, what do you think about purchasing keyboards on eBay? Do you know something about scams here or how to detect them? My friend persuades me that there's nothing to fear. He says 'just enter your address carefully, check your zip code here https://worldpostalcode.com/united-states/illinois ...

Using it for a while now (carpal tunnel!) and it works really well even with my wrist brace. Can really recommend it. And forget about the wireless, use the USB cable (if you get the wireless RollerMouse you can do wireless or USB!).

I found this 80s keyboard-themed mug a while ago. Do you have any neat keyboard-themed non-keyboard things on your desktop or maybe on a shelf?

Guys, remember to compress your images. These don’t need to be any larger than 100k to retain full quality. Mine are like 70k. Save Matteo the repetitive optimising task!
I use this. It’s open source. There’ll be equivalents for your platform.

Hey, love the new design, with one exception: I don't like hamburger menus on mobile. Can we get dedicated buttons for Spy/News/My posts/Wiki on mobile as well? There's plenty of space and it would save a tap. Thanks!
