Sorry for hijacking the OP's post, but I feel it's relevant so here's the idea I was talking about:
This very rough mockup is able to host a full ATX motherboard, a standard ATX PSU, a GPU with riser, possibly two 3.5 inch HDDs and an additional SSD.
Haven't thought about airflow and tons of other ...

Here's another thing: The above design is with a full size keyboard but I was thinking that it could possibly have a big cutout with different snap-in covers in the keyboard area, for a full keyboard, a TKL, or other forms.

I'd buy it instantly without haste.

WE need something like this, all in ...

I was thinking more something like this

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/1/19/Amiga_600.jpg
As much as I loved my (now gone unfortunately) 500 and 1200, I always liked the compact, almost square design of the 600.
If you could squeeze in there all the components I'd buy it in an ...

It's funny, because a couple of days ago I started designing a full atx PC case/keyboard, and now I'm seeing this sweet Apple II themed case which I wasn't aware of!
My idea is for a desktop replacement, being able to host a full atx board and GPU (i.e. no mini/micro itx, Rasberry Pi, onboard GPU ...

@purdobol Thanks. I've found the thread you mentioned, but unfortunately there's no sign of this model. I also had a look on the list you posted before and although there are some Gabriele models in there, the 2000 is not listed.
But thank you anyway!

OK, thanks for the input guys. Since I still don't know if these are mx compatible and given the fact that they are so common and easy to find, I'll just skip this for the time being.

Unfortunately it is in working order and i'd hate to destroy any vintage equipment, even if it's not in my sphere of interest. However, removing the keycaps isn't that bad, because I can put them back in anytime.
The problem is I don't know what kind of stem these have.

Triumph Adler Gabriele 2000

There's a local ad for this typewriter. It's the same one as on this video:

Some models from this series have mx stems but I'm not sure of this one.
I'm thinking of grabbing it just for the keycaps. Am I sane ?
