Thanks Nakkor, I couldn't thought that my hobbies could produce such reaction. Maybe you could publish a thread with your work, your ideas. Is your avatar is a picture of what you are working on ?

You're welcome. (^__^) Yes, there will be a work log thread pretty soon (within a month at least ...

Very cool!! I just love it when ppl build keyboards that are more ergonomic, especially when they are this different! d(^__^)
I also like your no-nonsense hack-and-slash prototyping style. I'm too neat when I build stuff, so it takes me a long time to get it done. <=)

This reminds me a little bit ...

7bit: I (we) have been _extremely_ patient so far, but I can tell you that I'm just about to loose my patience. You stated earlier on GH that "Switches will ship within the next few days (20-27 July 2012)", and the 27th is 17(!) days ago, but I have still not received my switches! I did not order ...

7bit: No switches today either. I didn't order any phantom stuff and I've payed for the switches (twice actually, had to get a refund on the second payment, no problem there *thumb up*), so they should have been here weeks ago!
What is the status, are my switches en route or what?? :?:

Mmm, mine as well. Seems like you need an avatar to get a response, so now I've added one. ;)

No switches here either. They should have been here by now(!). (´._.)
7bit, did you send those switches the week before this one like you said in the pm on GH?? (?_?')

[OFF-TOPIC]
I use bc . In theory, because OSX is based on BSD, it should be available for you, too. Awesome! As you suggested, it's built into OSX. This is even faster than pulling the TI-86 out of the desk drawer. Thanx a bunch for the tip!! :D Hmm, now how do I do sqrt? *testing*.. "sqrt(x ...

To be serious, I stopped using calculators when I left school. To do the calculations with a computer is much easier, because you can save what you calculate and also see what you calculated.
Hehe.

By weight would mean that the number of switches we receive could be less than what we ordered.
Only if you do it wrong. :geek:
Just make a 10 x 10 board with mx sized pockets in it. Grab handfuls of switches and rub them across the board. When all 100 pockets are full you dump them in the ...

7bit wrote:Thanks for offering help. More than 20,000 switches are quite a lot. I'm still unsure if I should count them by weight or one by one.
I would do it by weight. It's easier and faster to control "count" a batch should you have to do that.

PAID!

$7 for shipping? Seriously? Guess I'm just used to shipping in the contiguous 48... $75.12 for 110 switches is pretty damn good though. <69 cents a switch. How long until "Brandon Binn" AKA biniaris sends my switches?
Whut?!? You only have to pay $7 for the shipping of 110 switches?! It ...
