Thanks zslane!

I placed an order (11 items from the R6 leftover list) but in the invoice mail the alphas were missing

missing: HONEYG/ALPHA/WHITE

does that mean they are not available even though listed in R6 leftovers?

The R6 leftovers wiki hasn't been updated in over 2 weeks, so it's very ...

I usually get an updated invoice within 10-20 minutes after ordering leftovers (today it only took 5), I think it's the payments that can take a while to register (especially Paypal payments as those only get sent to 7bit in batches a few times a week).

I know that I still have ~$37 I need to pay off on my invoice, but still am not sure how I am supposed to send this payment to myself being that I am the only PayPal collector. Is this going to delay the shipping of my order?

That's my biggest worry with this whole thing. A lot can go wrong between Germany and NYC. I bought some R5 leftovers from someone on Reddit's mechmarket that never showed up. I got my money back of course but they were a few kits I really wanted and ...

That's it? There are some here that paid probably over 2 years ago. Keys are currently being sorted and shipped (albeit slowly). Be patient.

Keep in mind that PayPal payments only get sent to 7bit a few times a week, and if it's a slow week it might just be once. After that the bot still needs to process the payment and send out an updated invoice, so if you're making multiple payments per week chances are it'll take a bit for the ...

Damn, you really gotta be quick with this stuff. I'd actually prefer a grey numpad kit so if I manage to get my hands on one of those you can have first dibs on my black kit if you still want it by then

Looks correct to me, NMassa.

The only "confirmation" you will get will be an updated invoice showing your payment. It will probably take a day or two before you get that (it depends on when goddard sends the payment info to 7bit, followed by when 7bit gets around to sending out updated invoices ...

I only send payments to 7bit twice a week, after that I'm not sure how long it takes him to update your invoice. I got yours on the 13th, and it was included with the payments I sent to him yesterday morning.

In his defense I guess the original production dates were in early 2016 and got pushed back a few months after he placed his order, and then again a few times after that, but that info was readily available in the wiki and this thread. I put my order in at the beginning of this year and even then I ...

You're right, the issue is with how the current versions of Mac OS handle scrolling acceleration, mainly that they don't let you disable it and the default values are way too low for slow scrolling. I found something on GitHub that fixes it for me, but I doubt it'll work for Tiger (did Tiger even ...

I actually just started looking into this myself, but for my 2012 Mac Mini. I was looking at the Thunder2 myself, but if you want to use a full-sized card ...

Best cheap mouse that works well in both Mac OS and Windows?

I'm surprised I even have to ask this as I figured by now something as common as a computer mouse would be fairly standardized and should "just work". I have a cheap Logitech M500 wired mouse, and while it works fine in Windows, it doesn't work so great in Mac OS (Sierra currently, but had the same ...

I was under the impression that these kits were left-overs from R5.

For any keycap sets that are in stock, it doesn't matter when you order them. It only matters when 7bit accumulates enough cash to pay for shipping. It's like social security in the U.S.; your payment doesn't actually go towards ...

Does anyone here own an actual Wyse WY85 terminal?

The keyboard has come up a few times in the past, but does anyone have the actual terminal it works with? The Wyse keyboards have the same connector, but the voltage levels are different versus the DEC keyboards - the DEC terminal supplies 12V to the keyboard, which is converted to 5V in the keyboard. The Wyse keyboards expect 5V, so if you plug one into a DEC, then you'll fry it.

The best thing for a ...

Keyboard(s) for DEC VT420 terminal

I recently picked up a DEC VT420 terminal but it didn't include a keyboard. What are my options? I didn't think it'd be too hard to find a cheap keyboard but from what I can tell the LK201 and LK401 that are meant to be used with this terminal will cost me more than I paid for the terminal itself ...

Added one of the F13-24 kits from the R5 leftovers to my order. Not sure if that helps towards the MOQ for R6B though. I'm still looking for F1-12 kit in gray or black if one becomes available or if someone's got one they don't need.
