Thanks zslane!
I placed an order (11 items from the R6 leftover list) but in the invoice mail the alphas were missing
missing: HONEYG/ALPHA/WHITE
does that mean they are not available even though listed in R6 leftovers?
The R6 leftovers wiki hasn't been updated in over 2 weeks, so it's very ...

I hope its yes, then its not lost by postman!
That's my biggest worry with this whole thing. A lot can go wrong between Germany and NYC. I bought some R5 leftovers from someone on Reddit's mechmarket that never showed up. I got my money back of course but they were a few kits I really wanted and ...

In his defense I guess the original production dates were in early 2016 and got pushed back a few months after he placed his order, and then again a few times after that, but that info was readily available in the wiki and this thread. I put my order in at the beginning of this year and even then I ...

You're right, the issue is with how the current versions of Mac OS handle scrolling acceleration, mainly that they don't let you disable it and the default values are way too low for slow scrolling. I found something on GitHub that fixes it for me, but I doubt it'll work for Tiger (did Tiger even ...

I actually just started looking into this myself, but for my 2012 Mac Mini. It only has Thunderbolt 1 so choice of enclosure and GPU are somewhat limited, but from what I've seen the AKiTiO enclosures are pretty popular. I was looking at the Thunder2 myself, but if you want to use a full-sized card ...

Best cheap mouse that works well in both Mac OS and Windows?
I'm surprised I even have to ask this as I figured by now something as common as a computer mouse would be fairly standardized and should "just work". I have a cheap Logitech M500 wired mouse, and while it works fine in Windows, it doesn't work so great in Mac OS (Sierra currently, but had the same ...

I was under the impression that these kits were left-overs from R5.

Does anyone here own an actual Wyse WY85 terminal?
The keyboard has come up a few times in the past, but does anyone have the actual terminal it works with? I know this isn't really the forum for this but I was hoping someone with the terminal could measure some voltages on the main PCB for me. Or just point me to a copy of the maintenance manual ...

The Wyse keyboards have the same connector, but the voltage levels are different versus the DEC keyboards - the DEC terminal supplies 12V to the keyboard, which is converted to 5V in the keyboard. The Wyse keyboards expect 5V, so if you plug one into a DEC, then you'll fry it.

Keyboard(s) for DEC VT420 terminal
I recently picked up a DEC VT420 terminal but it didn't include a keyboard. What are my options? I didn't think it'd be too hard to find a cheap keyboard but from what I can tell the LK201 and LK401 that are meant to be used with this terminal will cost me more than I paid for the terminal itself ...

I'd be interested in one of the HONEYB/RETURN225/RED if they get cleared. Also HONEYB/ESCAPE/RED if anyone has one. I had purchased a red Escape key from R5 from a member here but it was lost in the mail (along with the other keys I had purchased from him - still looking for those black cursors and ...
