A couple of random thoughts...

Would it be possible to do payments in bitcoin? It might remove the need for a volunteer collector, but the volatility could be a PITA.

When the phase 2 caps ship, what will it look like in terms of volume? Like 10 standard sized moving boxes? More? Less? I don't ...

Assuming it's still available, anyone know what HONEYB/ALPHA/BV/CREAM looks like? Is it an alpha set with some blue and some violet keys?

But there's no way of knowing who falls into that group – 7bit would presumably have to cancel all orders for which he has not been given updates from the collectors, despite having recieved some of the money. Those people would then need to dispute their PayPal payments. Some of them might get ...

I realize that 7bit is busy getting orders shipped out, but it would be nice if someone could, at some point, do an accounting of which orders aren't paid up. I realize this is difficult with incomplete information from some of the previous collectors, but what happens if we never get that info?

I ...

Does anyone have an update on the problems mentioned over the last few months?

Is there someone collecting PayPal now?

Did 7bit get the accounting details from the previous collectors?

Did 7bit or SP get all of the money that the previous collectors collected?

If the bot says that you've paid in ...

Thanks for taking the time for the detailed explanation zslane. It helps when I understand some of the behind the scene headaches.

I'm interested although I'd need some hints on how to get from PCB -> working numpad. I've put together an Infinity ErgoDox kit before, but this looks like it requires a bit more know-how.

Round 5 leftovers are whatever 7bit has sitting around his house.

Round 6 leftovers are whatever remains unclaimed by pre-orders. None of the Round 6 keycaps have left SP's factory, as far as I can tell. Moreover, Round 6 is split into two separate manufacturing "phases", so depending on what you ...

Is it too late to order from the Round 6 wiki? Are only the leftovers available? How much is shipping? Are value for customs lowered?

You can order anything on the Round 5 and Round 6 Leftovers list. However, keep in mind that quantities are limited, and if you delay, the kits you want may get ...

I'm trying to put together a set from the leftovers and I wanted to double check that G/CURARR/R3/GREY contains 4 arrow keys that look like HONEY/CURARR24, except row 3 rather than 2/4 (since there's no picture of G/CURARR/R3/GREY )

Thanks!
